Hi, I'm Richard.
I'm a software engineer based in New York, NY. I'm currently with
Arta Finance, where I work with a small but
scrappy group to make the financial superpowers of the ultra-wealthy more accessible.
Thus far, I’ve focused on scaling financial infrastructure, launching core
products for our members, and integrating AI to level-up both our internal
workflows and investment offerings.
Before that I was at
Google
for 5+ years, where I worked on several initiatives within Maps including contextual
notifications, crisis response, and accessibility. Beyond engineering, I am also a
lead instructor at Codepath.org, where I have
taught technical problem solving with data structures and algorithms to thousands of
students over the past half-decade.
My alma mater is The University of Iowa where I graduated with Bachelor's degrees in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Music. In my free time, I enjoy
working on my golf game,
seeing the world, and
grooving to some of my go-to tracks.
